The product turned out to be surprisingly good, I would say wonderful, and in some ways even a unique and unique product. It is strongly recommended for purchase by many, and it is the second version (with the corrected shortcomings of the first. On the full frame, only 16mm is fully working. Personally, I took it for 25.890 as soon as it went on sale in a very large online store.

Pros

The second version of the wonderful wide-angle. Made in Japan. Excellent construct. It looks like a very expensive "glass" due to the coating of the lens surface and gold embossing, so it gives "solidity"))) Included is a good, in my opinion reliable, lens hood (with thick walls, ribbed inner surface). Convenient lid with central lock. Switching to the manual, from autofocus, "one touch", by shifting the ring. A wonderful, rarely repeated, angle, even for crop (I use it on 7D and this, by the way, was promised by many) and good focal lengths, just up to 17mm. Good aperture, f / 2.8, for evening and indoor shooting. Reliable metal bayonet fastening. The interior space is covered by a rear lens, so that the interior space is further protected from dust. HA somehow, so far, I haven’t noticed, although according to the reviews they promised. The sharpness is wonderful, juicy excellent picture. I won’t talk about bokeh, there’s nothing to it here, with such an angle, not the tasks.

Cons

The lens hood snaps on rather tightly (although it may still be new), but it is easy to put on, but every time I am afraid to take it off. ))) The autofocus switching ring, or rather the switching method, will definitely not appeal to everyone (at the moment of switching, you can knock down the focus, you have to focus again), but I liked it, very original. Someone will say that the focal ring is tight, but I will not say.
