Review on Wusthof 9676 Gourmet Utility 3 Piece by Nicole Slotnick

First of all I bought my first set of Wustof blocks almost 30 years ago and every piece works as good as new today. I knew they would be of lower quality when ordering, but I didn't expect them to be cheaper than the $10 I bought at Walmart (see side-by-side comparison in the photos). All comparison photos are taken with my high-end Classic set. As you can see there is a significant difference in the thickness of the metal. They are very fragile and look like they are about to break. As willing as I am to accept the cheaper version of these knives, I am too scared to use them and will return. Very disappointed that Wustof sold their reputation of being brands, especially with cheap Chinese products.
