The picture and functionality of this 32 inch 4k monitor is good, but be careful if you want to use it to switch between desktop and NVR security camera display. Unfortunately, Asus made this monitor unsuitable for this situation. Here's why: the monitor has both HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 inputs. With a PC connected to HDMI 1 and NVR security cameras connected to HDMI 2, the monitor will automatically switch to HDMI 2 to HDMI 1 after periods of inactivity um means that if HDMI 1 in Windows settings produces a splash screen for 10 minutes and then turns off after 20 minutes, it doesn't. turn it off - it automatically switches to my working HDMI 2 camera input and stays on forever unless you manually switch to HDMI 1. I have contacted Asus and there is no fix for this 'function'. You'd think there was a simple software fix to disable automatic input switching when needed! I like the look of the monitor but I will be returning it because it automatically stays on 100% of the time. Looks good for a single pc situation.
