In 2020 I had trouble trying my home computer set up for online conferencing. This previous generation flat screen, which always worked great as a display, didn't have a built in webcam, and when I realized I really needed one, there weren't any reasonably priced models. So I got creative. I used the DroidCam app to use my Android phone as a camera, but I couldn't get the sound features to work. So you need a microphone. For a while, I got by with a vocal mic plugged into a port on my computer. but it was pretty ridiculous like I'm about to start singing or introducing an Oscar winner. I read a bit and finally bought this microphone. I am very happy with it. His sensitivity is great; I can have it on my desk, but it doesn't have to be in front of my face or on my desk. I really like having a mute button at the base as it's easier to reach and press a single button than it is to scroll through the video conferencing menu to find the mute setting. I had no problems with that; plugged it in and my computer immediately recognized it and started using it. I'm very grateful, that this product exists. I can have it next to me on my desk but it doesn't have to be in front of my face or at my desk.
