Definitely a noticeable increase in performance.

I already had these plugs in an 88 Ford LTD. they were there for ALWAYS! When I wanted to sell the car, I replaced the spark plugs with more expensive ones from NGK. The gaps were correct on the NGK connectors but the old E3s had an audible difference and worked better so I put the old plus back in.
