Review on Stay Stylish In Any Weather With PASLTER Men'S Slim Fit Trench Coat: Double Breasted, Belted And Windproof by Robert Sample

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fit well, is a good windbreaker, poor design

As a windbreaker coat it does a good job. I tested this against medium to heavy winds (hurricane season) as well as mild rain. It worked great against all of it and was comfortable to wear. The fit was actually quite good albeit just a small amount shorter than I would have liked. However, I am a 200lb/91kg, 6'2"/1.88m male with broad shoulders and it's rare that I find something that fits well if not tailored. The only feature of this jacket which keeps me from using it is the belt. No matter how I look at this thing, or how I try to hide it I feel like I am wearing a 1970's or 80's coat. It's a big, wide belt with a cheap chrome buckle and grommets against a black material that is made so long as to force it to hang down as a design element. That one feature ruins it for me. Others might find it to be a desirable feature and perhaps it fits in with todays styling. If that works for you than this is a four star windbreaker.

Pros
  • Jackets & Coats
Cons
  • The belted waist may not be comfortable for those with larger midsections
