It doesn't crumble, looks nice but glitters a little.

I used this product to make a homemade Christmas garland out of rags for my Christmas tree. I mixed it up with scraps of fabric tied with jute twine. It was easy to work with and didn't fray like the burlap I originally bought. It arrived on time as described. I did notice that it has a little more sheen than burlap, but that made it better in a craft I've made.
