I bought these because of the hype and reviews online. First, the build quality is good, the appearance is excellent. The power adapter is small but doesn't feel cheap. But the sound quality disappointed me. These speakers lack detail and clarity. The biggest problem for me is the bad image. There is no clear separation for different instrument positions. Doesn't sound spacious. Bass is weak, but that's to be expected given the size of the speakers. I installed them in my living room 10 feet from my listening position. I used the soundtrack "Jazz in the New Harmonica" by David Chesky, which has different instruments playing on the left and right. The piano sounds like it's locked inside the speakers instead of being played in a large room. I have switched between these and my current speakers and this quality of space is very noticeable.
