Seems to be well made leather buckle (not sure animal skin or vegan) with gold colored loop - it will NOT open. to attach it (my bag has zippers). Shipping was a major problem: ordered on October 1st and was due to arrive in Maryland on October 5th; It arrived at the Revain facility in Baltimore, Maryland on October 4th and then completely disappeared for 14 days until I received notification that it would be delivered on October 19th - long after I had already requested and received a refund and reordered - then it showed the follow up arrived at the Revain facility in CALIFORNIA on October 17th. Again, the place of delivery was Maryland.
