Very good compression stockings. Compression socks for men and women, soft and comfortable knee-high compression socks, socks for nurses and runners, remedies for shin splints and swelling, compression socks for pregnant women - I regularly use compression socks after running to help me recover faster. My calves become very sensitive after long runs and I've found that compression stockings speed up recovery. These socks are among the best I've ever tried. Designed for compression 15-20 mm Hg. Art. they offer a very good balance between tight and firm compression. I have never tested what compression is recommended for different uses but they are very comfortable after running when my feet need some comfort. The design is very good - graduated compression, a semi-custom fit means there's heel pocket, and the sizing is fairly flexible and forgiving. I wear size 10-10.5 sneakers and bought a large sock and it fits me perfectly. Not too long and not too short - hits right on the knee, compression is nice and even. Only one seam at the top of the sock, so even better. Longevity - I only wear mine after a workout after a shower and never wear them for long periods of time. I recommend hand washing - I've made other socks very similar and I wash them in a regular wash with good results. Just take care of them and they will serve you for quite a while. Great socks for sore muscles after a workout. They should work for you if you wear compression. Try it.
