I may be biased, but my Kitchenaid blender is the best little appliance I've ever owned. Mine is about 15 years old and was purchased as part of a real sale offer. And I didn't even know there were different adaptations for it until a few years ago. (I bought a chopping attachment) I just found out there was a chopping attachment on the day I ordered this one. I wanted to grind my own meat instead of buying store bought groceries which are way more expensive and who knows what they actually put in there? Grinding to make it yourself seemed like a healthier alternative. So I invested and all I can tell you is this thing works like a charm! Even an idiot like me set it up and polished it in minutes. The first thing I made with it to try was roast beef and mashed potatoes. With my old hand sander it would take me about 20-30 minutes, not to mention another 15 minutes of cleaning. This nozzle took me exactly 4 minutes, another 2 minutes to clean it. (Maybe it would have taken less time if I had read the instructions to take it apart first!) Just cut up some turkey for turkey burgers tomorrow and hands down it's the best investment I've made since buying a food slicer. the attachment! LOVE MY KITCHEN MIXERS AND GRINDER SETUP SO MUCH! I know it will pay off many times over. And that was a good price to start with! BUY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT! :)
