Cables are very popular these days. This is the standard pinout for almost all Chinese radios (Baofeng, Radioddity, etc.), copied from Kenwood. It looks like there's a real (or a really good fake) FTDI chip inside. Windows 10 drivers are happy with it out of the box, and it works out of the box on Linux and macOS too, which is a good sign. Tested with CHIRP on a Radioddity GA-510 and it works as expected. The cable is wrapped in a nice nylon sheath and the connector on the side of the radio slides easily into the radio making good contact without fuss. The USB side has a translucent shell with multiple LEDs inside showing activity. The USB sleeve itself is a little flimsy and may not hold up well, but it's hard to complain about that. All in all a solid performer if you want to use CHIRP and your Chinese (or Kenwood) radio.
