I have purchased several Encased products over the years and have found them to be reasonably priced and well made. So when I received the new iPhone12 Pro, I immediately went for the Encased product. However, this was the first time I've bought a ballistic shield case. When it arrived I was skeptical about keeping it to myself, it's a significant case but not so much that it looks like a tank but certainly a lot heavier than I've had in the past. I liked its grip and I liked how it really protects the edge of the glass. The look isn't overly commanding, just more significant and mostly black with some styling. I've had it for a few weeks now and I'm glad I tried it. I'm not the type to drop my phone, but I dropped this one. No damage - not even the hull. To me this is a good balance of a large case that offers a high level of protection without looking like a combat case. I am very happy with it. So give it a try before you make a decision, I'm glad I did!
