Inkbirdplus Dustproof Waterproof Electrical Enclosure Review

Nice little box! I say a little, but it's actually a little more than what I used in my last project. More space is good. Solid, strong, seals well, light weight, looking forward to my next project!

Just what I needed to use the Inkbird ITC-1000 to replace my Anvil temperature controller. The box is waterproof, durable and easy to use. Great value for money. I would definitely buy it again if I needed a box for a project

As they say, a project box is weatherproof until you punch holes in it. There are mounting holes to screw it to the wall and the included plastic screws to attach the cover to the box. It's fairly thin plastic, so it's easy to drill or cut holes in it.

Plugged in and packed in a nice box and tested on my smoker. Brought it up to temperature as programmed and then started a cycle to hold it with a variation of about +/- 10 degrees. I suspect if I let it run longer or use autotune it will be a bit more accurate, but overall I'm very happy with it.

Inkbird's plastic junction box is a great addition to the Inkbird PID controller. It provides a spacious platform for mounting a variety of accessories such as voltmeters, ammeters, shutdown indicators, switchable outlets and of course Inkbird PID controllers. Waterproof with rubber grommet, 4 corner screws and threaded mounting points inside.

As an added suggestion, this junction box is ideal for use with the Inkbird PID controller. It's a box after all, but the parts fit in, it's clean, solid, and dry, and will save you a lot of puzzles and guesswork when it comes to finding a project box for this app. Buy it. and keep worrying about the next thing on your project list, that's the right box.

I used this to assemble a boiler controller and a glycol chiller controller. Worked great for both, recommend a small fan to ventilate the kettle cooking box well, I didn't have a temperature for my chiller. It's amazing that it has a weatherproof seal as I hit the radiator and water came right up the side of the sealing joint. Open the box and make sure it's still dry inside! Very happy with this box! Will buy more soon!

Good assembly, quick delivery, good value for money. Sounds like an Inkbird product to me! I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a bit smaller than what I need for a BIAB barebones controller, but more than what I need for a DIY fermentation temperature controller. EDIT: Revised to give it 5 stars after receiving feedback from the Homebrewtalk community on the controller design and also after being contacted by an Inkbird rep for my questions. Excellent customer service!

I was impressed by the design and construction of this product. The two things I liked the most are the design of the 4 screws that hold the lid. Also, although I didn't notice this when ordering, a back panel can be built into the box. It has built-in feet and two threaded metal inserts for mounting the back panel. If I can suggest one thing that would make this perfect, it would be to include 2 metric mounting screws for the back panel. Many of us in the US don't have metric machine screws on
