Mounted to wall easy but need tool to realistically mount it properly

Box work perfectly for my electrical need’s just wish it cam with the two screws need for mounting the electrical panel inside box. If you looking to run cables in and outside box you will need a drill with a paddle bit. Plus screw to use inside mounting bolt built into box. Other wise I fount this item to be extremely helpful.

Nice box for small alarm circuit board. I had to drill some holes

I got this to hold a circuit board in a closet for an alarm system. The cover is hinged with secure latches and it is solidly built. For my application, I had to make some holes in it in strategic locations. There are no knockouts for that, but that was fine for me. I can't speak to weather tightness, because I am using it indoors.

  • Worked great for my portable AFR gauge build. Cord grips provided are a good quality too.

Quality and Size best in my review

My 30 years working in the electrical trade showed that this is an extremely nice small weatherproof box.The weatherproof connectors were a little large for the # 18 cable that I was using but I was buying the box not necessarily the connectors.I would definitely feel comfortable buying any size box this company offers.

easy to use - my new review

We had to modify it from the old one, but it is more sturdy and will probably last a lot longer and the latches seem more sturdy as well. So easy to install.

Really an all purpose box

Although advertised as an electrical junction box, this unit an be used for any application requiring a very sturdy box. I use mine to old tools. h

  • Works well as a junction box between my generator and the cabin! Very pleased.

Details You Might Need to Know - not in the description

This is a great, deep, small, gasketed, waterproof, JB. Hardware, latches and hinges are 316 SS. There is a back plate for mounting items, but only short screws, so if your item is deep, like my emergency PB switches, you will need to get 5mm x .8 pitch machine screws. Of course Ebay sells a pack of 10 50mm long for $6. You won't find them in the local hardware store.LOL - I closed the box on a hot day and it sealed so well I couldn't open it on a cold day, air contracted. Yup, it seals!

I used this to house my switch assembly for my boat. Works great and I would definitely do this again if I build another boat!

As Advertised good for me

The box is well made and seems to be water resistant if installed correctly. I used the box to rewire a pool pump and it worked as advertised.

I used this box to hold my electronics on my Flounder Gig for wadding. It works good electronics are Dry. That's my feedback.

Good Roomy Security Camera Box

I had a standard round security camera box but it was just too small. I needed room to add a POE splitter and audio connections. This box was perfect in size ( I did not want a wide one) and cost. Good quality also.
