I have many printers including laser and inkjet printers. I needed an inexpensive and efficient printer for basic home use. The Brother printer is great. Economical and decent color rendering. The cartridges are cheaper and seem to last as long as the more expensive Canon and HP cartridges. They are easy to connect and easy to use. On your Brother printer, the cartridge compartments can be opened and accessed through a separate flap. You don't have to open or lift the top of the printer just to insert a cartridge. So, good price, easy access, decent colors.
