Review on πŸ”Š Dayton Audio DTA-2.1BT2: 100W Class D Bluetooth Amplifier with Sub Frequency Adjustment for Enhanced Audio Experience by Dustin Citizen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good amp with limited bass output.ΒΉ

Purchased for onboard Bluetooth, input select, tone controls, dedicated subwoofer output and crossover adjustment. At first glance it looks like the little package has everything I wanted. I have another non-Bluetooth Dayton Class D that I really like (DTA30HP). The overall tone of this model seems lacking at low frequencies, and the tone controls and crossover controls don't help at all. It should perform as well or even better than the DTA30HP, but even after 2 weeks of fairly heavy use with multiple JBL bookshelf monitors and their accompanying subwoofer, the overall output bandwidth of the DTA30hp seems to be much greater than this model. I think it could have been a bad block. On the plus side, the build quality is excellent, the Bluetooth works great and the input select button is flawless.
