Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Superior Performance in New Balance Women's 1400 V1 Trail Walking Boot by Kelsey Watson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite shoes are good for hiking. Boots

. But they are very light and comfortable. Big toe box. Haven't worn them on hikes yet, still wear them around the house, shopping etc. The sole has a slight wobble which is great for my worn ankles. The protective arch ensures good lateral stability. Great hiking shoe for its intended purpose. UPDATE: They have become my everyday shoes now. My ankle osteoarthritis was getting worse and making other shoes too painful to wear. I have New Balance pressure redistributing insoles in these boots and as another reviewer said, it's like walking on marshmallows. Except that I LOVE running on marshmallows given the painful alternative. I also have a New Balance 928 hiking shoe with the same roll bar, it's a good shoe but feels a little awkward and slippery on wet pavement. These boots feel softer, more resilient and less stiff. I still find her ugly. The gray version of Thinsulate looks much better but is too warm for me. I wish New Balance would have made them in a nicer color. The dark brown leather looks like plastic and the coloring is terrible.

Pros
  • are understandable even for old people.
Cons
  • Waiting too long.
