Overall, the technology has been greatly improved over the PK series. This is a good speaker that could be even better. In fact, its older brother, PL 7, is better. This one stays loud for a long time, bass is low (two devices paired together can help), with GREAT battery life. The application is suitable for updating the firmware. Otherwise, almost everything you can do with the app to control the speaker can be done from the speaker itself. Bass boost is good, but a few separate EQ settings would be better. The redesigned speaker shape gives it a more balanced, if not deep, sound. Is it really that hard to upgrade from IPX 5 to IPX 7? Let's try next time LG. Good?
