I have an L-shaped table with my work on one side and my personal side on the other, so it can get tight! My personal laptop on a traditional monitor stand would often get in my way and I would bump my elbow which was driving me crazy! I started looking for something to get my laptop and second monitor off my desk but with the ability to get closer if needed. (My eyes are getting old even if my mind isn't.) I installed it very easily as it comes in sealed bags clearly labeled with letters corresponding to the steps in the written instructions. In earnest, an educated monkey could set this thing up without too much trouble. It's very durable and keeps my laptop and monitor in place perfectly! You can rotate sideways and up and down as needed, but if you don't want any movement, simply tighten the appropriate screws. I am very satisfied with this product! Do yourself a favor and buy this if you need more desk space, you want a sleek look that also offers flexibility. I know this is supposed to sound like I was paid to do this, but it's not!
