Not sure how fire/water/explosion resistant
After inserting the folders, there will be a gap in the clasp which is likely to weaken the security of the documents. I don't see you using tabs for folders. The lid is already firmly attached to the top of the folder. Overall good quality and it will be suitable for storing my documents. But I don't see it as such a defense. Luckily I plan to keep them in a safe for real protection. Anyway, I don't see them as super protection against fire or flood.
