Review on TULA Straight Sharp Point Scissors by Denise Davis

I received these as a gift and they are perfect for cutting silk and delicate fabrics like cambric thanks to the micro-serrated blades. I used them to cut the silk ribbon at an angle and it was less frustrating than using sharp edged scissors. The serrated blades grab thin tissue as you cut through it. These scissors are not designed for cutting heavy fabrics, but I have used them to trim the tips of half-square triangles when quilting cotton and they still work well. I've had them for almost a year now and mainly use them for finer fabrics and embellishments simply because these scissors are superior to anything I've had when working with these intricate pieces of silk, Swiss cambric, voile or Liberty of Tana cotton turf . .
