I like the idea of monitoring tire pressure so I looked into TPMS and settled on this one. They're easy to install and set up, but don't expect them to last more than a few years. I bought mine in November 2016 and after about 1.5 years a sensor reported a low battery. When the sensor was opened, the metal contact inside the case broke, rendering this sensor unusable. I figured this was an isolated case - maybe a defective unit, so I ordered a new sensor to replace the defective one. After a few months, sensor 2 just stopped showing up on the display, so I removed it and when I opened it it broke contact again. After 2 years, two of the 4 sensors broke. I assume the other 2 will eventually die, so bear that in mind when purchasing. I emailed them but never got a reply.
