Review on Universal Bathroom Suction Strainer 10769 by Matt Watkins

After all! Working strainer

We recently moved into a house with a bath/shower and a pull out drain. I have thick shoulder length hair and I knew the drain would clog without some sort of hair catcher. However, I didn't know what could work with the pop-up drain. I found something in the store that slipped onto the cork and held in place by six small suction cups. It was silicone and shaped like that, but the suction cups did NOT stay on the tub and most of the hair fell right under the thing. Six weeks after moving in, my drain was clogged. So I started looking online for something better but it was confusing! I read the reviews and some of the reviews said it worked great while others said it didn't work at all. I didn't know what to believe. I was afraid I would have to buy several different ones to find one that worked. But then I saw this Danco product and decided to try it first and I'm so glad I did! That works great. Not sure what holds it so well, but it doesn't budge. As long as you make sure the drain is not clogged before installation and clean your hair after each use, the water will drain normally. Never have I ever caught myself standing in a lake and taking a shower. Happy customer!
