Disappointingly inaccurate

I have a very good Taylor 603-21 which I damaged with cold water when it was hot so bought this as a replacement. Yesterday I set my oven to 375 degrees. Taylor registered 375. This one registered 330. The thermometers were about 6 inches apart on the same shelf in the oven. A very disappointing purchase.
