Review on Sewing Clips for Crafting 🧷 and Quilting: Tin Box with 100PCS by Heather Shaw

NO fancy clips, but not scary either

I'm new to sewing and find clips easier to use than pins, but genuine Clover Wonder clips are scarce and quite expensive. I bought a pack of genuine brand name miracle clips to see if I liked them. I did, so I bought them to increase my stock of clips. First beware, the jar they came in is not the one in the photo. It's okay, I didn't buy them for that. I suspect they only have a selection of cans. Second, the FIRST one I took out of the tin broke when I squeezed it. Oh oh! Not the best start. I wanted to make sure it was a coincidence so I posted all the clips and tested them all. Two of the entire can were broken. Some of the other 97's were a bit "clicky" but they work. And yes, I said 97. Adding the broken 2 didn't get me a 100. But a missing clip out of many 100's isn't anything I care about. To be honest, I would never have noticed if I hadn't counted them when I checked (I just said it before mentioning it here, just to be sure). As far as I know they are ok, especially considering the cheaper cost compared to the real deal. I will use them until they break, gradually replacing them with real ones over time. All in all, I don't regret this purchase one bit. Just moderate your expectations and you probably won't be disappointed.

Pros
  • β–ΊIdeal for all kinds of crafts. Different colors help mark the fabric. The flat base of the clip makes it easy to place on the presser foot.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
