Review on ☕ White 4-Cup Coffee Maker: Mr. Coffee DR4-RB by Djkutt Mack

If you're single or your SO doesn't like coffee check out this Mr. It says it's rated for four cups but coffee makers have to use dollhouse cups. That makes two 8 ounce mugs, just right for two morning cups or a travel beer. I had a coffee maker and Keurig machine combo and was thinking of covering all the basics of making coffee. But I rarely used the Keurig side, instead brewing a cup or two at a time. So the first thing this machine did was free up a lot of counter space. I use a grinder with burrs (burrs are a real stimulus to brewing coffee) and on my old machine it took 7 seconds for one cup, 12 seconds for two. This guy brews the same thing with a 5/10 second grind. I do not know why. Maybe Mr. Coffee has a better spray pattern, or maybe it's because the smaller basket holds thicker coffee. Regardless, it's a 10%+ savings. It's fast. It brews a pot in the same time it takes two Keurig pods - the same time it takes Keurig to heat water for a second pod. It has a competitive price. This model is available in a regular vanilla finish or with a clock and timer. I don't have a watch model - fortunately my day no longer follows the train timetable. But you will see that the price is comparable to any other 4 cup brewery. Mr Coffee machines consistently rank highly in Consumer Reports reviews. My only criticism of this machine is the lid latch. See the picture I uploaded. That wouldn't be a problem, other than the lid sticking like superglue when you snap it open. A bit of an exaggeration, this isn't a steam latte machine. But to open the lid again, you need two hands: one holds the base and the other opens the lid. attached) and the problem is solved. Maybe it's just my car. There she is. Always drink black coffee. Unless you use cow or sugar. Then always drink coffee with a cow. Or sugar.
