Worst Coffee Maker

This is the worst coffee maker I have ever owned. I used to have a Mr. Kaffee coffee maker and I still have two old ones. The old ones started leaking after about 8 years of use so I ordered a replacement. So far it's working well, but it produces a very low temperature and low band at the same time, and the coffee doesn't really brew. I hate this unit. Not recommended at all. Don't waste money.

Wrong information, it is not as big as advertised.

Note the name: Mr. Kaffee DR4MC, white. This is NOT a 4 cup coffee maker unless you are using demi-glace or espresso cups. The pot only holds 3 cups. This means that a normal human not using a soup bowl instead of a coffee mug will get at most 2 cups in a coffee mug, while the one he substituted for Mr. Coffee was also listed with 4 cups but made 3 cups. It's not worth sending back, I'll buy 4 more cups today. I just want you to know that this is a small "4" cup pot. So if you want two good…

Pros
  • Superb design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

The same at home has been working well for many years. Bought it for the office. I don't know anything about fluid dynamics other than what I observe as a user, but this user thinks that if you fill the tank to the brim or almost to the brim (if you want to brew "two cups") it's almost impossible to pour your tank ). first cup without spilling as you pour. The jug of the current model has the side imprint "Mr. Coffee” as well as the now obligatory safety heel. My old pot has no logo or warnings

Pros
  • GOLS certified

  • Some problems

Caution household appliances, large and SMALL

I read reviews before buying, I had 1 a long time ago, I used it for hot water for tea. It's outdated and I haven't had one since I had this The type you don't use or leave on all the time, also I have a perm and paper filters that I usually keep off all my machines just in case it does is great for any kitchen even if it comes out tomorrow it still stands by the way I got the coffee pot (sm) because back then (once upon a time) we didn't have a microwave it's better than using a stove (mr…

Be careful with your desires.

My coffee tastes much better with this coffee maker than with the previous Mr. Coffee 5 cup programmable I used. Very simple and oriental in use. Color now. White. yes it looks beautiful But what I didn't anticipate is that it would be white and it would be extremely difficult to see the fill line. You may not have this problem if your coffee maker is in a well-lit area. Also, inside the "lid" if you don't wipe it often you will see coffee "splashes" darkening it, which you wouldn't notice if…

Just right for two, two cups

I have owned this model for more than two years. This is a $20 coffee maker and I didn't expect it to last and work well BUT IT HAS TO BE. If you're cooking a full pot, you'll end up with a slightly messy hob area as heated water is pumped across the bottom. It squirts in there a little, but not enough to squirt between the lid and the top of the brew basket. I don't usually use more than 2 teaspoons and everything works fine. You'll get splatters if you fill it all the way to the brim. Also…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Sad technology

does not contain a permanent filter!

We have had several Mr. Coffee machines over the years. ALL came with a permanent strainer included with the coffee maker. This came without a permanent filter. Pretty annoying! The instruction manual states that the Mr Coffee Brand 4cup permanent filter did not come with a permanent filter and it is not clear in the product description that one was not included. The instructions in the box indicate this (not included with all models). This should be clear in the product description. I just…

If the water doesn't pump into the coffee pot, do it

I've had it for a little over 2 years now and it works fine. Recently my coffee maker just stopped pumping water into the coffee maker. Pot. I could hear water gurgling, but no water came into the coffee pot. I think that's common with these coffee makers. Luckily I didn't have to throw it away. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the vertical plastic valve stem that directs water from the water tank into the glass jar could detach from the fitting. So I turned off the coffee maker and saw…

The best little coffee maker.

If you're single or your SO doesn't like coffee check out this Mr. It says it's rated for four cups but coffee makers have to use dollhouse cups. That makes two 8 ounce mugs, just right for two morning cups or a travel beer. I had a coffee maker and Keurig machine combo and was thinking of covering all the basics of making coffee. But I rarely used the Keurig side, instead brewing a cup or two at a time. So the first thing this machine did was free up a lot of counter space. I use a grinder…
