I read reviews before buying, I had 1 a long time ago, I used it for hot water for tea. It's outdated and I haven't had one since I had this The type you don't use or leave on all the time, also I have a perm and paper filters that I usually keep off all my machines just in case it does is great for any kitchen even if it comes out tomorrow it still stands by the way I got the coffee pot (sm) because back then (once upon a time) we didn't have a microwave it's better than using a stove (mr coffee is the best, even the one i bought) is still the best,
