I've had it for a little over 2 years now and it works fine. Recently my coffee maker just stopped pumping water into the coffee maker. Pot. I could hear water gurgling, but no water came into the coffee pot. I think that's common with these coffee makers. Luckily I didn't have to throw it away. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the vertical plastic valve stem that directs water from the water tank into the glass jar could detach from the fitting. So I turned off the coffee maker and saw that the latch on the block holding the valve stem had come loose. There is only one way to put it in the water tank and the front wall. take it off Then reinsert the valve stem into the base hole. Then take the water supply device, align the hole with the vertical pipe and insert it into the device. Also, ground coffee can sometimes get into the water tank. Coffee residue can accumulate (uncomfortably!) and even leave grounds in the holes. This usually happens when there is too much regrind in the paper holder and it falls into it. You must remove these particles, otherwise they will block the two holes through which the water is heated and pumped out. So unplug the machine and rinse those two holes with strong running water and turn the coffee maker upside down to get rid of the grounds. Hope this helps someone.
