In September 2019 I bought three of these donut beds for my many old pets. huge and fat! I was concerned that my old chihuahua might not get in the middle, but when he puts his paws to the side he wobbles or tilts a bit so he can climb aboard his cloud. Each of my many animals (cats/dogs of all ages but mostly ancient) loves these bedding. I wash them hot and dry hot at least once a month on a regular front load cycle. They become even fluffier and taste particularly good after a peeling foam massage (bath) if they are taken in while they are still slightly damp after drying with a hair dryer and are surrounded by gentle warmth on all sides. For a while, the tips of the tiny rubber anti-slip tabs on the bottom of the bed began to come off during washing. At first I thought they were small flat bugs and spent a lot of time with a magnifying glass and scouring the internet to find out what they were (I couldn't see a single paw) until I finally noticed that the tiny shiny little spikes (approx. 1/8 inch) from the anti-slip plate started to come loose and appeared in my dryer filter. Wow! ! Also, the fur on the underside of the walls looks a little sticky, but I use a rubber furniture brush to gently fluff it up and it fluffs up most of it, but considering how many times they've been washed it's hardly noticeable , it doesn't ruin the look because the top is what everyone sees. And in general, my animals do not bother with the consequences of constant use and washing of their favorite bedding, as long as they are soft and fluffy. you love her! This morning my little Skippy got a bubble peel massage and after a blow dry he climbed into the middle of his super fluffy bed, sank into it and almost disappeared. I know he's there because I can hear him snoring. My animals love these beds!
