The first one I received was very faulty. Sometimes it didn't register a click, leaving you with no haptic feedback. Other times, when you only clicked once, it behaves as if you clicked multiple times. Since it does NOT have Touch ID, this is very disappointing - not because it doesn't have a fingerprint reader, but because it didn't always register my click, so the passcode didn't show up and you had to tap multiple times. once. The replacement was shipped quickly and appears to be working much better. whether it lasts time will tell. But for the price, the second one I got seems to work properly. Two other things to note: 1) The "Reach" feature (double tap to lower the screen too far for easy access) does NOT work with this button. Not a big deal, but on an iPhone 7 Plus with such a large screen, this can be an issue for some people; and 2) the button isn't as responsive as the original home button.
