Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Kenda Kwick Trax Tire: Unparalleled Performance and Durability by Martin Dosunmu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small enough to negotiate a standard road fork

I'm converting my road bike to gravel/cross/commuting and looking at other tires to improve traction. The Schwalbe CX Pro is bulbier, but too big to fit a standard 100mm road fork (but it does fit 135mm dropouts). They fit perfectly and still have a slightly knobby profile than most commuter/hybrid tires. I tested the Fulcrum 5 LG wheel, which is about the same width as most road wheels made in the 2000s (before the "wider the better" trend took hold). Once I have it all together I will update this review with performance on local trails/parks.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easy serviceability
