Great commuter tire

Great commuter tire. Reflective sidewalls greatly improve visibility. Good profile, not baggy but can dig into loose sand if needed.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Very expensive

Good quality at a good price

I just love my new tyres, good price good quality. Excellent grip on asphalt and grass. I use my bike in the city and in the park and I am very satisfied with this product.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Hm, something doesn't seem right.

Lots of good reviews but tires feel cheap. Large rubber tags hang from the seams. Maybe bad formwork? And I drove mine maybe 1000 miles until I found half in a small crack in one. I came across nothing memorable, and neither glass nor nail broke down in tears. I was hoping that this tire would be a bit stiffer. Even if it looks badly done.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can't remember

I love these tyres.

They were original (no reflective tape) on my hybrid. I've never had a 2600 mile condo! At this point the back protector started to wear out so I ordered these new ones. They switched to the new cameras with no problems and I look forward to another 2600 trouble-free kilometers of fun. I have 700x32c and they can work with grass, sand and gravel patches.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Small enough to negotiate a standard road fork

I'm converting my road bike to gravel/cross/commuting and looking at other tires to improve traction. The Schwalbe CX Pro is bulbier, but too big to fit a standard 100mm road fork (but it does fit 135mm dropouts). They fit perfectly and still have a slightly knobby profile than most commuter/hybrid tires. I tested the Fulcrum 5 LG wheel, which is about the same width as most road wheels made in the 2000s (before the "wider the better" trend took hold). Once I have it all together I will updateโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easy serviceability

Fast, puncture-proof, reflective training tire

I use my 26er MTB mainly for highway riding. Tried Michelin and Continental slicks. Wet driving, especially downhill, caused safety issues due to slicks, and bad roads (lots of debris) caused the Continental to have limited puncture resistance, the Michelin performed poorly. Tried the 1.75 wide version of Kendas first. High puncture resistance and good rolling properties. So I decided to try the best configuration at 1.25 paired with C2 Michelin Schrader tubing. 1.75 weight about 400 gramsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring package
