Always been a supporter of Sennheiser. The CX 300-II is unparalleled in every respect. As the subsequent Senkhs experienced mechanical difficulties, a buddy suggested that we purchase these Panasonics. I made the purchase, and I do not regret it. It got to the point where it was depressing; what an idiot he was to waste money on the brand when $500,000 might have bought him happiness. Superb, crystal-clear sound, and bass can be heard. They are designed to fit snugly within the ear canals. The CX 300-II features a significantly reduced amount of tangling. There were just the right amount to set on the table, and the macrame was already hellish. The soundproofing at Panasonic appeared to be subpar, as I was hardly able to pick up on any passing vehicles in the senkhs. To tell you the truth, I was not fond of the symmetrical wiring. The one that is asymmetric can be worn around the neck in a convenient manner, and there is no requirement to look to determine which earpiece is the right one or the left one. Also, it appeared that the cable was somewhat short. On the other hand, in general, the sound, in addition to the price, significantly outweighs the disadvantages, so you should get it.
