I bought it as the main hard drive for installing the operating system and basic programs. It worked flawlessly for a little over a month, loading times were practically non-existent, it was like turning on a TV and loading immediately. Programs load without delay every time. I was definitely impressed. One day I wanted to turn on the computer and it took a very long time for Windows to load (more than 5 minutes). After the login page finally loaded, I noticed my background image was missing, so I figured something was wrong with my Windows. I entered my login details and my desktop wouldn't load at all, I just got a black screen to move my mouse around. I went to task manager to see what was going on and saw that Explorer.exe wasn't running so I tried starting it manually but to no avail. I gave up on Windows after googling many possible causes and trying to fix the problem. So I got a boot disk for installing Windows, plugged it in, and restarted the computer. When I got to the installer, I tried formatting the drive and reinstalling Windows there, but I couldn't choose my drive to install. I asked Google again for help and some forums suggested that my drive might be write protected so I tried again to remove this setting to no avail. The problems remain. I've tried everything. I've tried several Hiren's boot drive diagnostic tools and they all hung when I tried to select that drive (although they worked on other drives) so I couldn't even diagnose the problem. That's when I decided to contact Revain about this issue. Revain told me to contact HP and try to resolve it and if not they will take care of it. So I did. When I called HP, they were impressed that I don't use a drive on an HP computer and kept telling me to run the HP UEFI diagnostic tools by pressing a key combination during boot, which obviously doesn't on my motherboard is available. AsRock board. So I kept telling them I couldn't because I don't use an HP computer. They then told me to contact Revain again as my device must be faulty. Well now comes the fun part, I live in the Dominican Republic and have been a Revain Prime customer for many years. I ship my items to an address in Miami where my items ship to the DR. After so much trouble with this CD, Revain refused to take care of my problem because the product had left the US. The only reason they gave me was that the product had left the country. That's how I lost my money and my trust in Revane. I hope you are happy Revane, I will not be renewing my Prime membership this year and I will definitely start looking for other sites to spend my hard earned cash on.
