Review on Hoover 304087001 Vacuum Primary Filter by Kim Flores

I'm only giving a 3 star review because posting this item made me believe I was getting a genuine Hoover part. It doesn't detract from the product itself as it seems to work pretty well. Why not just use images of the real product alongside the original Hoover part? My only complaint is that it doesn't seal as well as the OEM filter. However, I think it's good value for money as it works and it was easy to install as it fits right into the canister. The part I received is almost the same thickness and the quality is a bit close to the OEM part. This replacement part is marked EnviroCare Technologies on the top. As you can see from my attached photo, there are no indicators on this item to tell you which end is coming, but it does have an additional mesh flap to pull the filter out of the bin for cleaning. This valve, along with the blue rubber grommet configuration, should help anyone figure out which end goes up. All in all I can't complain about the price or that it works in my vacuum. I only wish salespeople were clearer and more honest when selling aftermarket parts. Show your customers what they're really getting from OEM parts. Likewise. Don't just name the part OEM information.
