I bought this stabilizer for a 6-day tour of Taiwan. When it worked it was very good. However, it only worked properly a small percentage of the time. It kept turning off while I was filming videos, had to be constantly rebalanced and now the power button is being pressed. Unfortunately my return period has already expired so I need to contact the manufacturer to see if they are willing to do something to rectify this situation. Updated on 4/2/2019. The rating was raised to 2 stars because a Pergear seller asked the seller to send a replacement free of charge. However, the stabilizer itself still does not meet my needs. I bought it to use with a GoPro Hero 7 Black and an external microphone. Unfortunately, due to GoPro's poor design that requires an external adapter to connect an external microphone (not the gimbal's fault), the gimbal can handle the extra weight of an adapter mounted somewhere on the camera itself. Also, the GoPro must be mounted against the motor (on the right side of the camera), which blocks access to the power/mode button. I think it will also affect Hero6 and Hero5 Black. This can be fixed by using the GoPro Mobile App to control the camera. Another issue: I couldn't install the Hohem Mobile App on my phone to pair it with the gimbal. However, I was able to use the app installed on my 8 inch tablet. I bought all of the components in my rig to use with one hand, but installing it in this configuration forces me to use the Hero 7 Black's internal microphone for audio, plus I have to carry around my 8" tablet to to control both cameras and stabilizer. For me this setup is unsuitable and I will look for other stabilizers for my future needs.
