I bought this product for my basement hoping to find the best way to get rid of the musty basement smell that is always there. Other odor neutralizers will work, but they must be used frequently to keep the basement smelling fresh. I was hoping it would be something I could forget about and keep my basement smelling fresh for over a week or a month. I hooked up this product and tried it out on the initial setup. The good news is that the product got rid of the musty smell in my basement and the bad news is that it replaced the musty smell with a stronger car smell. My basement now smells like concentrated chlorine. I tried the product with all three settings and all three settings gave the same result. The smell of chlorine is extremely aggressive and irresistible. After reading the rave reviews for this product I had high hopes but I'm going back to Revain.
