This heater is great for heating. Small, compact, efficient heating, good safety function (tilting), EXCEPT. We specifically bought a heater with an ADJUSTABLE THERMOSTAT because once you get the right temperature you can just turn the knob down and then it should shut off. , and when the temperature drops a little, the thermostat turns it on again, adding the desired feeling. Right? Not this thermostat. I don't care where you like your temperature, you can adjust it until it turns off and it will NEVER come back no matter how cold your room is. I've tested it over and over again and the thermostat knob is just a glorified on/off switch. It never turns on until you turn it on and never turns off again no matter how warm the room is. If you don't need that feature then this thing is perfect, but I think there are cheaper options that don't have an adjustable thermostat.
