If you're buying these to spend a lot of time setting them up nicely and then leave them in that position for a long time (no regular adjustments to height or opening) then they are you you ok They are well made with good materials and block the light well. But flipping the fan over when installing it so the arms look nice and even, and then doing it again when adjusting, is pretty cumbersome. I recommend securing the pleats with straight pins while the curtains are still open, then hanging, tying, adjusting, and removing the pins. I am a fiber artisan. I work with fabrics and make beautiful things for a living and it is still too much of an inconvenience for me, especially as I have B&B guests in my home who may wish to adjust the curtains slightly. i give them back They're beautiful, but they're literally a commitment I don't want to make with curtains.
