Love this perfect size bookend. It's perfect. I've looked at other more expensive ones and they were very good without knocking them off, but the great thing about this little beauty for me is that it not only holds your book upright like it's needed for a cookbook, but will also lie flat , almost flat for my novels where I use my book weight. (see photos). I couldn't find anyone else who does this. The stand's height adjustment lever is very easy to operate, just lift it with your finger and place it in the right place. I'm sure the little black "hands" on the shelf would be great for cookbooks or things I print. Very sure. It's a winner and all for $15.00.
