I bought this for my desk to use as a paper holder. It's sturdy and grippy enough to write on. It looks great on my desk and helps me type comfortably by keeping my keyboard and mouse right in front of me. I removed the 2 black staples to keep the books open as I don't use them for books.

I like the book stand. I seem to look down on reading, sewing, studying and other things. I try to help my posture and it helps. I have an online language course so I can read a book at eye level instead of bowing my head. It would be great for recipes in the kitchen.

I will never know if this brace will work because I will never put it on my body. The stench of used rubber tires that filled the room as soon as I took it out of the box was disgusting. No washing, airing or deodorizing will help with such a strong odor.

I bought this book stand for my mother and she loves it. She uses it every day. She likes that it's durable. She loves the hands holding her sides. They're obviously strong, but don't crease or tear the pages. And she loves that she can adjust the stand depending on what surface she is placing the stand on and whether she is sitting at a desk or standing behind a counter. According to my mother, this is one of the best stands. This coaster is mom approved!

Glad I ordered it at the time as it is currently unavailable. I ordered the small size, not only because it was the only size available 3 weeks ago, but also because it suits my needs. The shelf that the book sits on is 1.5 inches wide and thanks to the clips, it can easily handle books that are 2 inches thick. I didn't notice it at first but I think after using it a few times it got worse.
