Review on Throttle Body Assembly 2.5L for 2007-2015 VW Volkswagen Beetle Golf Jetta Passat Rabbit - Replace OEM# 07K133062A by Jason Dahlkemper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It ran on my wife's Jetta for about six weeks with no problems.

When I got off the floor and told the dealership a part was $700, I decided to see how hard it would be to do it myself with the $70 version. (I'd happily pay 3-4 times more for a US made part, but not 10 times. Ridiculous.) There was a video online that was very helpful and very specific to the 2013 Jetta SE. It wasn't easy to find, but it's there. Be sure to buy the gasket/seal online. (There was a 5-7 day delay when I bought) The local dealer charged me $30 for a $6 print and honestly I don't need it. This is a very strong silicone gasket that comes with the car and has been fine after 100,000 miles. After brushing it lightly, it looked and felt the same as the one I just bought. Of course it did. There is one clamp that you almost need a special tool for. I've spent over an hour on the vise etc and it's very hard to squeeze. I ended up using the thick wire I had and twisted it tight. It's just as good. Although I expect to roll my eyes when the dealer sees this for some reason. (Okay, then don't force your customers to buy an extra tool just to attach a clamp that didn't actually need to be squeezed that hard.)
