The first thing that struck me when I received the loops is that they are quite strong - not overly so but actually perfect for my dogs - Labrador Retriever and Border Collie. So keep in mind that this may not be quite right for a small dog. They are very well made too - nice thick silicone that looks like it will stand up to my boys constant play fights. Time will tell but I think they will be ok. Airtags slide into their slots very easily, and since flies are designed with the open side facing in, I don't think there's much of a chance of losing the airtag itself. Unless your dog looks like my BCD and has learned to untie the collar. but that's a whole different story. Also, the manufacturers proactively made the slots slightly wider so they could slide over the dog collar's latches, making putting the bow tie on the collar actually a breeze. My only downside? color options. I would like a choice of two blacks or black and red instead of black and navy. Since the back of the Apple Airtag is white, the small openings(?) on the flies are visible through the white. It seems unnecessary and takes away a bit of aesthetics, but that's a secondary point. In addition, I am more than satisfied with both the form and the functionality of this silicone bow tie.
