Aftermarket switches come in all shapes and sizes, but this one is unique and well made. It has a large weight, which greatly facilitates shifting. Plus, the color and shape instantly add some much-needed personality to any vintage eco-box. This is my first pressure gauge and I'm very glad I chose it. I've read countless reviews from other switches that plastic adapters break easily. Luckily, this one comes with metal adapters. Not to mention that the mines had no scratches at all. But if it was, I'm sure the seller would have replaced it. Based on what I've learned from other reviews, I have a few issues with this product. It's getting SUPER HOT, I live in South Florida and if I get in my car anytime after 11:00 am I have to play hot potato while shifting gears. Seriously, if you hold your hand on this thing for more than two seconds, it's going to feel like an 8th degree burn! No problem if you can change quickly, and I love the challenge. Second, it can get slippery when wet. So if your hands are constantly sweaty, this might be difficult for you. However, this is really the case with every shiny switch. Finally, you need to buy a boot adapter if you want your Switch to look clean with the boot. Otherwise, it just hangs under the handle, looking up from life (see photo). All in all, this really is the best deal on weighted derailleurs to buy right now. I'm glad I bought this instead of a short switch.
