Another reviewer inspired me to use these for my kids gift/savings/spend envelopes. Son and daughter shared colors. They are made from durable mesh material and the stitching and zip are on the stronger/more durable end which is essentially a pencil pouch. The width is slightly larger than a pencil, so you can easily store/access all kinds of writing utensils. It contains an amazing amount. We just introduced this financial system to children and the first step was to help each child empty their piggy bank and sort it into three categories. They had quite a bit of loose change, more than I thought, but everything fit and for now the bag was holding the weight just fine (until we can convert it into bills). It's very easy for my kids to handle on their own and the colors are bright and inviting. I will probably order another set for my class!
