I bought these a year ago and pinned them to the ceiling and around my corner. I forgot to take a group photo so you have to deal with weird blurry photos of nights in the background. I've added some photos taken at night to show the light they give off. 3 packs covered my blanket. a year later, and a string disappears. and I wore them almost EVERY day and night. I cannot express enough how many times these lights have been used. I personally think that a year is not bad for such lamps and their prices. So I've ordered 3 more and will replace them when the other 2 start to fade. Light is easy to manage if you plan consciously. I They are strung on COPPER WIRE. That means they'll get tangled up if you're not careful lol. It wasn't easy to arrange them the way I did, but I did and I was very satisfied. The brightness is exactly what I wanted, which is a very subdued, hazy light. If you want to read a book with this light, you need a lamp. It gets brighter when they're closer together, but not by a ton. This was the last addition after remodeling my room and considering I reordered a year later it's safe to say I recommend them.
