Very satisfied with the purchase. I have a small pantry that has no light or electricity. These are perfect for that. The shelves are metal, so they stick straight to the bottom of the shelf (it broke off, but I blame the lack of surface finish, not the magnet). The movement isn't triggered when the door is opened, rather when you start grabbing the shelf, the light comes on. I wish they were perfect, another degree or two and a little more clearance, but that's probably more due to how they're mounted and I'm trying to use them. In fact, I was so impressed with them that I ordered a larger version for my wardrobe. The only thing I can't say yet is the battery life. I'll edit this later if it disappoints me, otherwise we'll assume it's ok.
