I have several Altec Lansing products and had high hopes for this speaker. That's very depressing. I also have a 3 life jacket and an XL life jacket and they are great. This sonic boom speaker is no louder than the other two. Also, House Party mode does not work on Sonic Boom. I contacted altec lansing about the problem and they sent me a shipping label to ship back to them. More than 1 month later I still haven't received the speaker or get a refund. I couldn't be more disappointed with this product or their customer service. I would not recommend buying this speaker.
